I haven’t felt much like writing. It’s like being surrounded by condiments but with nothing to put them on. The ideas are there. The paper and pens stand ready. The muse is ever tapping out a familiar rhythm in my head. All the condiments, so to say are in place and ready for use. Yet, ….

  1. You did an excellent job describing the feeling of not being able to think clearly enough to write. The table is set, but the main dish just isn’t cooking. Take care of yourself. The writing will come in time.

  2. Thank you for sharing this artful reflection. It makes me think of Natalie Goldberg’s Writing Down the Bones. If you can’t write, then write about not writing – and you’ve done that, and it is brilliant. ❤ Hope it all comes out okay with you. I'm torn between saying that and saying but sometimes out of pain comes some of the best stuff. Because, both are of course true.

  3. Keep your head high, eat the right foods, stay positive always. Always. Keep in touch with nature, it helps.
